Wärterhaus im Juister Wäldchen

Other visit / guided tour

Discover the exhibition in the caretaker's house in Juister Wäldchen

Volunteer national park warden Ursula Kleen-Kolanus regularly opens the doors of the warden's house in Juister Wäldchen to visitors on Thursdays. In the exhibition there you can learn lots of exciting things about the father of the Memmert Otto Leege and the subsequent island wardens of Vogelinsel. Just drop by between 09.30 and about 16.00 (If the number of visitors is low in the afternoon, the warden's house may close earlier.).

The paths in the grove are footpaths. Bicycles can be parked at the entrance to the grove. After rainfall, the paths in the grove can be muddy.
Unfortunately, there is no toilet in the warden's house.

Please note that the warden's house will be closed on Thursday 22.08.2024!
