On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the local community invites you to the "somewhat different" 28th Christmas market in Hedemünden. The market starts at 11:05 am in the historic town center and offers a festive atmosphere, which is characterized by the picturesque half-timbered houses around the old school, the market square and the Oppertor up to the old town hall.
With Christmas decorations and a cozy ambience, visitors are put in a contemplative Advent mood. Hedemünden specialties provide for the physical well-being, while individual gift items invite you to browse. There is a special highlight for children: Santa Claus comes on a motorcycle and offers exciting motorcycle tours. The Christmas market is accompanied musically by tower brass bands, the trombone choir and a concert in the church under the motto "Fun in Music".
