But the peace and quiet is over when letter carrier Heini (who takes a rather relaxed view of the secrecy of letters) brings mail from Aunt Else! - She's a multi-millionaire hotel manager and on her way to Bütteldorf to finally meet her nephew.
Suddenly the whole village is upside down: the mayor smells a hotel project, cleaning lady Gesche is whirling around the house and Jens has to transform from an oddball country bumpkin into a real gentleman in no time at all - preferably with a suitable wife at his side!
His best friend Harm is supposed to help him - but he himself has as much experience with women as a cow has with ballet!
Together, the two of them plunge into a chaotic flirtation and makeover that keeps the whole of Bütteldorf on its toes! Then chaos is guaranteed - and laughter anyway!
