Named after the seventh studio album by their idols, "Achtung Baby" takes concertgoers on a journey through the almost 40-year success story of the four Irishmen from Dublin.
The main concern of the musicians, who all grew up with the sound of U2, is to convey the feeling, the sound and the soul of the music of the four Irishmen.
The spectrum ranges from the New Wave and punk-influenced beginning in the late 70s ("I Will Follow", "Out Of Control") to the period of upheaval and political engagement of the 80s (which culminated in the biggest rock festival in history up to that point, the Live Aid Festival in 1985, with songs like "Bad" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday") to today's gigantic 360-degree multimedia show, highlighted by songs like "Beautiful Day" and "Magnificient".
Of course, concert-goers will also be treated to many other great hits from "One" to "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "With Or Without You" in a soulful and up-close performance. This way, the sworn U2 fan will feel "at home" at the concert and those who until now have mainly known the hits from radio and TV will discover many new facets of the music of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen and perhaps become a future U2 and Achtung Baby fan.
