Strict etiquette applied when eating, deep bows were mandatory when greeting, and even dancing was a real art.

What did it smell like back then? There was hardly any soap, because perfume was used instead of showers, and an elegant flea trap helped against annoying fleas. A bit crazy, but typical of the court!
