Die Sonne – Unser lebendiger Stern

The show tells everything about the power plant at the center of our planetary system in spectacular images.

Target: The future - from now to eternity

Of course, no one can see into the future. But the natural sciences today know many of the processes that will determine our future. The show shows the future of the Earth and presents how life may adapt. But it also tells us how the solar system, the Milky Way and ultimately the entire universe will change.

The show takes us on a journey into an unimaginably distant future. So far away that even black holes cease to exist.

In addition to the Osnabrück Planetarium, a further 16 planetariums in Germany and Austria contributed to the realization of the show. The show was produced at the LWL-Planetarium Münster, where it celebrated its world premiere last year. Following the reopening of the Museum am Schölerberg, it can now also be seen in the planetarium in the Hasestadt.
