Medieval architecture can also be seen in Haselünne: Burgmannshöfe, the representative residences of the nobility, which together with proud town houses and the historic town hall characterize the image of the old town. Not to be forgotten: The tradition of grain distilling is very much alive in Haselünne. A museum shows the history of this high-proof pleasure, and local companies offer exciting factory tours and tastings. Last but not least, the St. Vincentius church with its beautiful Gothic vaults and valuable furnishings is well worth a visit. The church you discover on the way back is almost twice as old: In Bokeloh, St. Vitus was built directly on the banks of the River Hase more than 1,000 years ago.
