Mit dem PKW: Von Bremen oder Hamburg folgen Sie der A1 in Richtung Bockel. Von dort geht es über die B 71 nach Rotenburg (Wümme) und in Richtung Brockel. In Brockel fahren Sie gegenüber der Heiligen Kreuz Kirche in die Dorfstraße. Nach etwa 250m der Straße Ostende folgen und nach 500 weiteren Metern in die Straße Großer Weideweg abbiegen. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln: Sie können auch mit dem Bus in den Orte Brockel gelangen (Bushaltestelle Brockel Dorfstraße) und ein Stückchen zu Fuß zum Lehrpfad zurücklegen. Grundgedanke des Projektes ist es das Lebensumfeld in den Dörfern und die umgebende Landschaft natürlicher und damit lebenswerter zu gestalten. Gemeinsam arbeiteten die Samtgemeinde Bothel, die Gemeinden, der NABU und viele Ehrenamtliche daran, dieses Projekt mit Leben zu füllen und viele Ideen, die Natur vor der eigenen Haustür zu erleben, direkt vor Ort umzusetzen. In den letzten Jahrzehnten musste immer mehr Natur den funktionellen Dingen weichen und die Dörfer wurden eher unter praktischen Gesichtspunkten angelegt. Dieses Projekt besinnt sich auf die alten Errungenschaften der Dörfer, wo noch Schwalben und Schmetterlinge, Spatzen und Bienen ihren Platz zwischen den Menschen hatten.
