Autofahrer erreichen das Wisentgehege Springe von Einbeck aus über die B3 oder die L588. Wer mit Navi fährt, bei welchem das Wisentgehege noch nicht als Ausflugsziel bekannt ist, muss "Alvesrode", (PLZ 31832, gehört zu Springe), Straße "Zum Saupark" eingeben. Die kleine Ortschaft Alvesrode ist nur 1 km vom Wisentgehege entfernt. Das Wisentgehege ist dort gut ausgeschildert. Anreise mit Bus und Bahn: In Springe und Völksen gibt es einen Zuganschluss. Von beiden Ortschaften aus fährt die Linie 382 direkt das Wisentgehege an und hält am Haupteingang. Die Haltestelle heißt "Wisentgehege".
