From 1809 to 2024, the Leman company in Eystrup maintained an uninterrupted mustard, vinegar and oil tradition, making it one of the oldest mustard factories in Germany. Production was resumed in spring 2026.

 Many tasty mustard, delicious vinegar and healthy rapeseed oil specialties are well known to gourmets under the "Eystrup delicatessen" label. As the only independent mustard and vinegar factory in Lower Saxony, the brandy vinegar is still produced in wooden formers on beechwood shavings. www.leman-feinkost.de.
