The **old town hall** from the **16th century** is located on the market square.

 With its **three towers**, the Old Town Hall is one of Einbeck's **landmarks** and is centrally located in the **heart of the old town** on the historic market square. The **decorative carvings** such as fan rosettes and tau bar profiles on the outer façade are impressive.

- Redesign of the ground floor including the Old Town Hall's hall for a multifunctional use and fitting of toilet facilities

By public transport:

The historic Old Town Hall is situated at approximately 7 minutes on foot (600 metres) from Einbeck central train station. From the train station, cross the road at the traffic lights in direction to ZOB (Einbeck’s central bus station) and continue on the street Dr.-Friedrich-Uhde-Straße to the parking lot Möncheplatz. Take the street Lange Brücke directly into the pedestrian precinct and walk up to Market Square. On the left-hand side, the historic Old Town Hall is located.
