**The Südheide Nature Park is located in the district of Celle in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath and covers an area of approximately 500 km².**

 The Südheide Nature Park is a paradise for nature lovers and the ideal place for hours of relaxing hikes and bike rides. It features vast forests, heathlands, and marshes. Rare animals such as cranes, otters, and white-tailed eagles find peace here. The Lutter, a stream of high ecological value, is home to over 160 endangered plant and animal species, including the last intact populations of freshwater pearl mussels in Central Europe.
