Thanks to their many child-centred attractions, seven towns in Niedersachsen have been awarded the Kinderferienland seal: Wolfenbüttel in the Braunschweiger Land; Butjadingen on the North Sea; Lingen, Meppen and Haren in the Emsland; Nienburg in the Mittelweser region; and the North Sea resort of Dangast.
