 Ella v. Wangenheim

Ella von Wangenheim is the unmarried sister of Countess Frieda, who died 24 years ago. For decades, at her sister’s express request, Ella has been receiving a voluntary pension from her brother-in-law. She uses this to finance her participation in social life in Gotha. Even after her brother-in-law’s death six years ago, the allowance continued. But suddenly, the money stops coming! Ella doesn’t sit idly by and travels to Leer. She relies on old family ties and hopes for further support from her nephew, Erhard Graf von Wedel. At the castle, memories of lavish parties and endless summer retreats come flooding back.
