Wochenmarkt Salzgitter-Bad
==========================

- Weekly market

Salzgitter-Bad\_Marktplatz\_HD\_16zu9.jpg

The market square in front of the town hall is always a lively meeting place on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the state-recognized town with a brine spa. Residents take advantage of the wide range of fresh produce on offer for shopping and enjoy exchanging the latest news with other visitors.

 Local and regional traders are happy to bring their home-made goods to Salzgitter-Bad. Surrounded by half-timbered houses in front of the historic Ratskeller, a lively market atmosphere is created every Saturday. You can find dairy and cheese products as well as fish and meat, plus baked goods, fruit/vegetables and (cut) flowers. Depending on the season, fresh asparagus is on offer, strawberries in summer and pumpkins in fall.
