Verden Cathedral

Bach's Christmas Oratorio (BWV 248, Cantatas I–III**) fills** Verden Cathedral with radiant voices, Baroque sounds, and festive joy as the year draws to a close.

The year comes to a close with an extraordinary performance: outstanding soloists and the internationally cast Baroque orchestra “la dolcezza,” led by concertmaster Veronika Skuplik, are coming to Verden. Together with the chamber choir of the Verden Cathedral High School and the DomConsort, they will come together to form a world-class ensemble. With radiant voices and virtuosic orchestral sound, they promise a performance of the Christmas Oratorio that goes far beyond the ordinary.
