Weihnachtsmarkt in Meppen
=========================

- Tip
- Christmas market

Meppener Weihnachtsmarkt

**Our "Budendorf"**
Our Christmas market is much more than just "mulled wine and chips". **In addition to the absolute eye-catchers such as the Ferris wheel, Christmas pyramid and ice skating rink, it is the many small special things that make the Meppen Christmas market so special.**
 Many lovingly decorated huts with a Christmas assortment leave room to browse and discover. Anyone looking for a gift for the festive season or a souvenir is guaranteed to find what they are looking for. Visitors can expect a focus on stalls with a Christmas range.
**Did you know...**
**that the Meppen Christmas market was voted the third most beautiful Christmas market in Germany in 2019?** (Public vote in the "Best christmas city" competition in the city category 20,000 - 100,000 inhabitants)

**Meppen's lanes of lights:** Even before the entrances to the Christmas market, Meppen is aglow with lights. Countless Christmas lights create a very special atmosphere. Once you arrive at the Christmas market, the lanes of lights are a very special eye-catcher. At three selected locations, the pedestrian zone is spanned by skies of lights with thousands of twinkling lights.
