After a shopping spree through the illuminated city center or after work, the Christmas market invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together with mulled wine and Feuerzangenbowl specialties as well as other culinary delights.

 The Christmas market in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt once again enlivens the town center of the district in the run-up to Christmas. The stalls mainly offer culinary delicacies. The offer ranges from a lard cake bakery, an almond cart and a crêperie to a bratwurst snack bar, a potato stall and a mulled wine hut. Younger visitors can look forward to a children's carousel. The Christmas market in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt starts on the Monday before the 1st Advent and ends on the day before Christmas Eve. Open on weekdays from 10 am - 7 pm (until 10 pm if necessary), Sundays from 1 pm.

Salzgitter-Lebenstedt ist mit einem eigenen Bahnhof an das Regionalbahnnetz angeschlossen (Direktverbindung nach Braunschweig). Von hier sind es etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Monumentenplatz. Anreise per PKW: Über die A39 bis Salzgitter-Lebenstedt SÜD, Salder. Dann über die Kattowitzer Straße Richtung Zentrum der Ausschilderung Salzgittersee und Krankenhaus folgen. Gegenüber vom Helios Klinikum rechts in die Joachim-Campe-Straße einbiegen. Am Ende links halten und entweder vor dem Rathaus oder auf dem Großparkplatz Schillerstraße parken.
