 Music, dance, comedy, flea market 

 The Ockermarkt has been held on the third weekend in October in Hilter a.T.W. since 1997. The market is characterized by two stages with a varied programme of music, dance and comedy, a huge flea market in the town center and the "Ockermeile" (Bielefelder Str.) with stalls of all kinds. True to the motto "**something for everyone**", local clubs, associations and other institutions ensure a colorful market event. In recent years, the number of participants and visitors (more than 20,000) has risen steadily, making the Ockermarkt a flagship event for the municipality of Hilter, its businesses, clubs and residents.
