A ROMANTIC ADVENT EVENING TO MAKE YOU SMILE AND PAUSE FOR A MOMENT

This artist really needs no introduction. Through her role as “Mutter Beimer,” Marie-Luise Marjan achieved absolute cult status in German-speaking countries.

TV legend and “Mother of the Nation,” Marie-Luise Marjan, presents a pre-Christmas program with a unique twist. Despite the consumerism and self-imposed stress of the season, she manages, over the course of these two hours, to help the audience rediscover a sense of calm during this festive time.

The actress reads lighthearted, cabaret-style, satirical, and contemplative pieces for listeners of all ages. An evening that combines poetry with wit, fairy-tale-like naivety, satire, and music. The artist invites the audience to sing traditional Christmas carols with her, to forget everything around them, to let themselves be warmed by literature and music, to recharge their batteries, and to view Christmas from a different perspective for once.

A festive encounter with “Mutter Beimer” from the TV series “Lindenstraße,” who quickly wins over the audience with her great warmth.
Musical accompaniment provided by brass players from the Buer Trombone Choir.
