From November 29, 2025 to January 3, 2026, Schierke will be transformed into a festively illuminated village of lights every Friday and Saturday as well as during the Christmas holidays. Historic buildings, Mäuseklippen, the toboggan run and over 30 other houses and objects will be festively and colorfully illuminated.
The village shines in atmospheric splendor and invites you to take a winter evening stroll. Accompanying this, changing gastronomic offerings and small events - from the opening of the Christmas crib to a 90-minute live TV broadcast by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk to concerts and a Christmas market - create a warm, Advent atmosphere.
The new nativity scene in the music pavilion in the spa gardens can be seen every day and forms the centerpiece of the Schierker Lichterzauber.
