True to his motto, “Everything that’s good is also crap,” comedian and musician Bätz uses humor, irony, and a knack for holding nothing back to win over the audience.

Armed with a guitar and a knack for subverting expectations, Bätz finds the humor in the tragic and—sometimes gently, sometimes crudely—provokes unabashed fits of laughter and caught-off-guard smiles from the audience.

St. Pauli is now his home, and Bätz has finally found his place in the German comedy and music scene. Armed with a beard, a guitar, and a slight penchant for dashed expectations, the comedian and musician entertains with his own songs and a sharp tongue, always demonstrating a keen sense of holding nothing back.

Sometimes gentle and sometimes crude, he finds the humor in the tragic and, like no other, knows how to shake up and move his audience.
