The Kastelruther Spatzen, Europe's most successful folk music group for decades, will go on a grand tour through Germany in 2025/2026 with their new album "Friedensadler." With a very special mix of their most popular songs, their hits, and new tracks, the musicians led by frontman Norbert Rier will delight their fans. Folk music without the Kastelruther Spatzen is unthinkable: for over 40 years, the Kastelruther Spatzen have been touring all over Europe, with countless concerts, millions of concert visitors, millions of records sold – these are the figures of the incomparable success story of the Kastelruther Spatzen. They have long become the epitome of folk music and the folk hit genre. They are among the greats in the folk music business, and no one embodies this style better than they do. They have won everything there is to win in their field. They have received "Die Goldene Stimmgabel" five times, as well as several crowns of folk music, and were additionally awarded the "Grand Prix der Volksmusik." These three award shows are now part of TV history, but the Spatzen still stand fresh at the peak of success. Their 13 Echos have long been entered into the great book of industry history and are considered an unshakeable measure of things in Germany. Distinctive in style and appearance, they enchant millions of fans, scoring hit after hit and touching hearts with their melodies and lyrics. The joy of music and being together with their loyal fans and friends is as unbroken and fresh as ever for the Kastelruther Spatzen.
