In the footsteps of Martin Luther in Walkenried - guided tour on Reformation Day
================================================================================

- Guided tour
- from €12.00 p.P.

Führung vor dem Westportal der Klosterkirche Walkenried

The **“Spiritual Autumn”** event series will take place from October 16 through November 1 at the Harz monasteries to usher in the dark season and, through atmospheric moments and events, offer visitors the opportunity to pause and recharge.

 Against the impressive backdrop of Walkenried Abbey, a diverse program awaits during “Spiritual Autumn”: candlelit tours, Taizé singing with the Walkenried parish, and much more.

Visitors are invited to follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther and the Reformation at Walkenried Abbey. In addition to the church ruins and the impressive cloister, the tour also includes the chapter house—now used as a church—with its ornate furnishings. Discover the mystery of the “Luther Trap” and learn more about the turbulent period of upheaval in the 16th century at Walkenried Monastery.
