The Osnabrück-based a cappella group Draufsänger will be performing their program "Ohne Filter" on Friday (23 January) at the invitation of the municipality of Wallenhorst in the sports hall on Fröbelstraße. The concert starts at 8 pm.
Six pure voices, six types, pure vocal entertainment. The new a cappella program of the Draufsänger from Osnabrück will delight the audience. The six singers present their unfiltered view of a complex world, packaged in brilliant lyrics and rousing music, performed with first-class voices. The emotional spectrum ranges from tongue-in-cheek humor to laughter that gets stuck in the throat to thoughtful tones. Original compositions are at the heart of the show. Works by other artists, arranged by the group and now performed in the typical Draufsänger sound, enrich the show.
Draufsänger
The group was founded in 1992 under the name "Bon Timbre" and was renamed "Draufsänger" in 2014. The Draufsänger stand for a cappella entertainment at a high level, vocally accomplished, entertaining and comedic. The singers received their musical training in the choirs at Osnabrück Cathedral, the children's choir in Bielefeld, in singing lessons at universities and in choirs. In their private lives, the Draufsänger are teachers, doctors, chemists and engineers. And when they sing together, they create that certain something, a musical harmony that is captivating and gets under your skin. Under the motto "Everything you can sing", the enthusiastic singers make use of the most diverse musical styles and present an extremely wide-ranging repertoire. The group has been awarded several national and one international prize and regularly gives guest performances throughout northern Germany and Westphalia and beyond.
