The Universum movie theater is dedicating an entire evening to rock music with an exciting double feature: First, starting at 6 p.m., the cult film “Radio Rock Revolution” will be shown—this musical comedy revolves around a pirate radio station that rebelled against the BBC in the 1960s and broadcast rock ’n’ roll from a ship. The real-life inspiration for the fictional plot was the pirate radio station Radio Caroline. Things will get spectacular right after that, when, starting around 8:30 p.m., legendary guitarist Dick Taylor takes the stage at the movie theater for a live performance. Taylor is a founding member of the Rolling Stones, which he formed in 1962 together with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Starting in 1963, Taylor enjoyed great success with the band “The Pretty Things”—and on October 17, he’ll be performing primarily their songs together with the German rock cover band TALLYMAN. There, he performs with Jürgen Pluta, another well-known bassist—Pluta enjoyed success in the 1970s and 1980s with, among others, the Krautrock band “Wallenstein.” Advance tickets are available for 27 euros (at the door: 29 euros) via the movie theater’s website: https://universum-ev.de/tickets.html More information about the film, Dick Taylor, and TALLYMAN can be found here. **All the info at a glance** A tribute to rock music: Double feature: the film “Radio Rock Revolution” and a concert by Dick Taylor with “Tallyman” Saturday, October 17, Filmtheater Universum, Große Straße 38, 49565 Bramsche 6:00 p.m.: Radio Rock Revolution (film) approx. 8:30 p.m.: Dick Taylor & TALLYMAN (live concert) Tickets: 27 euros (advance sales), 29 euros (at the door) Read more Filmclub im Filmtheater Universum-c-universum.jpg Filmtheater Universum Good to know ------------ Price info Tickets: 27 euros (advance sales), 29 euros (at the box office) Read more License (master data) Tourismusgesellschaft Osnabrücker Land mbH Nearby ------ View on map - Event - Operetta - Operetta - Reading Event location **Filmtheater Universum** Große Straße 38 49565 Bramsche Organizer **Universum e.V.** Georgstr. 2 49565 Bramsche
