Emden Christmas Market

Discover the traditional Christmas market in the heart of Emden's maritime town centre.

Emden is a very special city by the sea. Once a year, the East Frisian seaport city is transformed into a magical Christmas stall. The unmistakable scent of almonds, spices and gingerbread, cinnamon and vanilla, mulled wine and grog gives you a hint: it's Advent time by the sea! The centrepiece is the large Christmas pyramid with delicious mulled wine, punch and much more. The Christmas decorated stalls offer delicious delicacies.
