Dannenberger riding days
On the first weekend in September in Dannenberg (Elbe) everything is under the theme "Dannenberger Reitertage".
Every day from 8 a.m. there is dressage and jumping up to the S-Class; Youth tests; a school program and of course a tournament party. With well over 2,000 entries and over 40 tests, a varied and top-class sports program is offered.
Many hours of equestrian sport await participants and spectators at the Dannenberger Reitertage. In the idyllic ambience of the Hermann Stolte Stadium on the outskirts of the city, the Dannenberg Riding and Driving Club traditionally welcomes active people from all over Germany. The Hermann Stolte Stadium is one of the most beautiful tournament facilities in Lower Saxony. Around 5,000 viewers enjoy the 3-day program every year.

The Lüchow-Dannenberg district is a “horse-friendly region” and the Elbtalaue community is a “horse-friendly community”.
The entire Lüchow-Dannenberg district offers excellent conditions as a riding region due to its scenic region, the many natural, large, coherent mixed forest areas, heath areas and marshlands. The corresponding award was presented at the Hanover state tournament in Verden / Aller.
The commitment and willingness of the many horse friends in the region were honored to have campaigned for the application and, at the same time, to successfully combine tradition and the present through new and interesting offers around the horse.
