Around 60 festively decorated stalls await visitors to the historic market square and the square An der Lilie. With Christmas scents and a colourful glow of lights, the Hildesheim Christmas market invites you to linger.
As a special highlight, the traditional centrepiece of the Christmas market, the city's historic market square, once again presents itself with a Christmas pyramid. In addition to arts and crafts and gastronomic offerings, small wooden huts around the market fountain adorn the square, their design picking up on the half-timbered style of old Hildesheim buildings. In these stalls, traders offer, among other things, many Christmas articles and accessories. As in previous years, several large fir trees create a wintery Christmas atmosphere.
For the children, there is a Ferris wheel and a children's carousel.
