Göttingen Christmas market

Christmassy sounds and traditional stalls create a wonderful Advent mood

Children will enjoy activities, a giant Advent calendar, the carousel and the nostalgic Viennese penny-farthing. A varied cultural programme takes place on the Christmas market stage and in the historic hall of the Old Town Hall. A special visitor magnet are the diverse demonstrations by artisans who show how their goods are made several times a day in the festively decorated wooden stalls.
