40 Jahre KURVE Wustrow: „Gewaltfreiheit verbreiten“
Resolving conflicts non-violently - how does it work? Can you learn that? The KURVE Wustrow education and meeting place has been facing this particular challenge since 1980: teaching the skills necessary for non-violent action. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the association will be presenting a small exhibition in the district house in Lüchow from January 23 to February 28, 2020.
The district administration of Lüchow-Dannenberg cordially invites you to the opening on Thursday, January 23 at 2 p.m. District Administrator Jürgen Schulz will greet the guests.
Eight lavishly illustrated exhibition boards, for example, provide an insight into the training courses on non-violent conflict management that KURVE Wustrow offers - and for which more than 500 (!) International guests come to Wendland every year. The “weltwärts volunteer service”, via which KURVE sends young people as volunteers to partner organizations in Macedonia, India, Ghana or Tanzania, is also an issue, as well as engagement in civilian peace service, support for local alliances and everyday life in the conference center.
The exhibition is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Admission is free.
