On Wednesday, the 11th of March 2020, the authorities of Lower Saxony announced that all upcoming events in locations that hold more than 1,000 visitors are hereby cancelled until further notice. This was declared by the minister of health and human services, Ms Carola Reimann, at a press conference in Hannover.
