Fas­cin­a­tion PS.SPEICH­ER - a des­tin­a­tion for the whole fam­ily

The PS.SPEICH­ER on the out­skirts of Ein­beck is loc­ated in a lav­ishly ren­ov­ated granary and is an ex­per­i­ence and ex­hib­i­tion park all about the his­tory, present and fu­ture of our in­di­vidu­al lo­co­motion on two wheels. The small town in south­ern Lower Sax­ony has de­veloped in­to Ger­many's clas­sic car Mecca in re­cent years.

Em­bed­ded in the charm of a granary dat­ing back to 1899, com­bined with mod­ern el­eg­ance, a unique mo­bil­ity ex­hib­i­tion has been cre­ated that not only makes the hearts of tech­no­logy en­thu­si­asts beat faster. The PS.SPEICH­ER tells the story of mo­tor­ised lo­co­motion on two, three and four wheels in an en­ter­tain­ing way over an area of 5,000 m2 and of­fers know­ledge and en­ter­tain­ment for the whole fam­ily.

In an ex­cit­ing jour­ney through time, vis­it­ors to the PS.SPEICH­ER ex­plore how mo­bile vehicles have ex­pan­ded ho­ri­zons and changed people's lives over the past 200 years, but it also takes a look in­to the fu­ture of mo­bil­ity with the time tun­nel. More than 400 ex­hib­its and around 90 act­ive sta­tions make the ex­hib­i­tion a mul­ti­me­dia and in­ter­act­ive ex­per­i­ence in which stor­ies, back­ground in­form­a­tion and in­ter­est­ing facts about so­cial, polit­ic­al and tech­nic­al de­vel­op­ments of the dif­fer­ent eras are vividly con­veyed. The chro­no­lo­gic­al tour be­gins with the in­ven­tions of the bi­cycle, mo­tor­bike and auto­mobile in the 19th cen­tury, il­lu­min­ates the ma­jor tech­nic­al achieve­ments of the 20th cen­tury and fi­nally cul­min­ates in for­ward-look­ing vis­ions of the second mil­len­ni­um.

In ad­di­tion to the main ex­hib­i­tion, there are sev­er­al chan­ging spe­cial ex­hib­i­tions as well as a freely ac­cess­ible full-mo­tion ra­cing sim­u­lat­or - one of the few in Ger­many, by the way, where you can get a real ra­cing feel­ing with a Porsche 911 Car­rera.

Sev­er­al ma­jor events also of­fer op­por­tun­it­ies to vis­it the PS.SPEICH­ER and the town of Ein­beck through­out the year.
