Explore Weser, Harz and Heide by Bike

This tour is suitable for: Touring

Where the Werra meets the Fulda the Weser begins ... but that’s not all. Here too is a starting point for the Weser-Harz-Heide-Radfernweg.

From Hann. Münden in the Weserbergland in Lower Saxony the Weser-Harz-Heide- Radfernweg unites varied cultural landscapes with spectacular natural views on a 400-kilometre stretch that takes you on to Lüneburg. The route takes you from the river’s edge through the north

German uplands on down into the heathlands. Enjoy venerable university towns and mediaeval villages, see sheep, lynx and otters in their natural habitats, and attend any of a wide range of cultural events.
