The Wümme-Radweg cycling route links the region Lüneburger Heide (Lüneburg Heathlands) with the Hanseatic City of Bremen.
The approx. 250 km cycling route circuit (which includes a north and a south route) follows the river Wümme from its source close to the 169 m Wilseder Berg to its mouth north of Bremen. The Wümme-Radweg takes you through the changing scenery and settlements of the North German Plain. Dykes, river valleys and meadows, as well as moors and heathlands with their richly diverse
plant and animal worlds accompany you along your way.
