Star-studded Aller-Leine Routes

This tour is suitable for: Touring

The Leine-Heide-Radweg offers landscape diver sity, combining the uplands of the Leinebergland and Lüneburger Heide with a ride to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.

At the source of the Leine outside Leinefeld you’ll admire the hilly landscapes of Eichsfeld and Leinebergland in Lower Saxony, with forested highland ridges and colourful mixed orchards.

From Hannover, a city known for its trade fairs, the route follows the Leine into the Steinhuder Meer lake area and the idyllic river scenes of the Aller-Leine valley. The route then runs through the Lüneburger Heide and towns steeped in history on up to Hamburg.
