Between the Weser and Elbe rivers and the North Sea: the landscape here is dominated by rivers, moorland and coastal mudflats, and is complemented by historical towns.
Powerful currents as the Elbe and Weser, natural rivers, fens and heath waters and of course the North Sea with the unique Wadden Sea - UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009 - determine the cycle tour "From the Devil's Moor to the Wadden Sea". The well-known marshland Teufelsmoor and numerous other fells and a varied landscape make it a special experience. Again and again well worth a stop - even in the old Hanseatic cities, maritime cities, coastal resorts and idyllic villages and small towns along the way.
The trail runs from Bremen about Worpswede, Bremervörde, Stade, Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven to Bremen. A start is possible at any point along the route.
The cycling route "From the Devil's Moor to the Wadden Sea" was conceived by the NABU environmental pyramid Bremervörde. According to experiences of nature are a particular focus. About the many natural highlights along the way inform a total of three leaflets.
Of the 450 kilometer track is uniformly signposted according ADFC criteria. The logo with the Lapwing has cyclists along the entire length of the path.
