The North of the Osnabruck region is marked by a collection of unique historic farm buildings, which give the Artland route its name. Magnificent farm complexes, of which over 100 are listed buildings, lie in idyllic parkland. You'll see plenty of elaborate half-timbered buildings with beautiful gables and lifelike carvings along the route. Further highlights include the imposing Schloss in Furstenau, the contemplative religious foundation in Borstel, the ancient place of worship and sacrificial altar in the Bippen forest and the mill in Groß-Mimmelage.
