Golfing from its most beautiful side: TourismusMarketing Niedersachsen launches the new brochures „Golf Journal-Spezial Niedersachsen” (in German) and „land of golf – golf courses and hotels in Niedersachsen“ (in English): With a combination of text and appealing images, the publications present a wide range of information about first-class golf courses and suitable hotel arrangements in the different golfing regions of Niedersachsen, Germany's second-largest state situated in the North West of Germany.

Most of the golf grounds persuade with appealing surroundings and courses which are harmoniously integrated into regional landscapes, such as the golf park Gut Düneburg in the Emsland region. Superb buildings like the Castle Ruins of the country estate of Count Hardenberg in the South of Niedersachsen or the Castle Hotel Münchhausen near the city Hameln enable to play golf in front of historical sites. A good example for golfing close to a city can be found near Hannover, where several golf courses such as the one in Gleidingen invite to spend some relaxing hours on a championship course after a city and shopping tour.

Additionally, readers will find special hotels being perfect places to rest and relax after a good round of golf. In collaboration with the golf courses of the area, the various resorts and hotels offer special services and attractive arrangements. For example, golfers can enjoy a “Whole in one” package at Schloss Lüdersburg in the typical heath landscape of the Lüneburger Heide or “Golf-Days-Deluxe” nearby the idyllic lake Zwischenahner Meer.

More than 80 golf grounds and hotels are listed not only in the brochures but can also be located on the new golfers’ map „Golfland Niedersachsen“. The map comes in three different languages: German, Swedish and Dutch.
